"Investing in income-producing, single-tenant net-lease assets since 1973…still the crux of our core business."
The Lexington franchise was born in 1973. Investing in single-tenant net-lease assets was then, and still is, the crux of our core business. The franchise went public in 1993 under the name Lexington Corporate Properties. We continued to grow through various portfolio transactions, most notably in 2006 as the successor in a multi-billion dollar merger, branding the new company Lexington Realty Trust.
With a focus on income and growth, we are proud to say that as a public company, we have made quarterly distributions to our investors without interruption. Our management team averages 19 years with Lexington, continually striving to create a better work environment, enhance our business and make our organization stronger.
Over the years, change has been inevitable, but the one thing that has remained the same is our team’s discipline and dedication to our net-lease business. As we continue to actively manage our portfolio, our primary goal is to provide investors the opportunity for a secure, growing dividend with long-term capital preservation and appreciation.
