Lexington is an active financier and acquirer of properties built-to-suit the needs of a corporate tenant. Lexington participates in the development of these types of properties by advancing funds during the construction period and/or agreeing to purchase the property upon completion of construction period and occupancy by the tenant. With Lexington providing this "take out" commitment, a builder can often arrange more favorable construction financing.
